Sure! We welcome walk-ins! There may not be availability to throw axes but you can book for a later time and check out the vibe! To guarantee availability, definitely reserve your Deep Creek Axe Throwing experience online! 😉

The cost is $35+tax/pp for the 75 minute range reservation and you pay when you make the reservation online. Book HERE!

When we do have walk-in space, the range times only start at fixed times, so you probably won’t be able to walk in and start throwing – you’ll have to wait until the next available start time. Kind of like walking in to the movies.

No! Those that don’t have larger groups and don’t mind potentially throwing with strangers or having their group split between ranges (a rare event) can book for however many they have.

Eight tickets translates to 1 Range to yourselves. To be the only guests in a range, search for and purchase 8 tickets on our booking page. If you purchase fewer than 8 tickets, you will just share the range with some new axe-throwing pals (public ranges can host up to 10)!

We have had to change this policy to not allow non-throwers back in the range area due to space requirements. Sorry! You are more than welcome to hang out at the bar upstairs, though.

Ages 8 and up as long as they have the strength and coordination to effectively throw a hatchet as judged by our Ax-perts. All children must be under the immediate control of an adult! Officially, there must be 1 adult per 3 kids aged 8 – 14; kids 15 – 17 just need one adult per range. Ages 7 & under are not allowed downstairs in the axe throwing area. Sorry!

We have implemented a cool solution for kids who just aren’t sticking the axe – they throw one of our foam axes and score wherever they hit the target! This way they can compete with the adults. Yay!

If you arrive after your start time and do not have the range to yourselves, you may not be allowed to join the range. This is because it wouldn’t be fair to stop the other guests’ gameplay in order to give your group the safety guidelines and instructions, when the other guests arrived on time and paid the same amount for their tickets!

You are fine if you have the entire range booked to yourselves – your throwing time will just be shortened to end at the regular time.

No BYOB is allowed, as we do have a bar on site.

We cannot have hangry, thirsty axe chuckers, so we sell beer/wine/malt beverages, soda/water, as well as some snacksl! ID required for the alcohol.

You sure can! We operate rain or shine. If there’s any ice, we will postpone your trip due to safety reasons. If you have any concerns about the weather, please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss.  Unfortunately, we do not offer refund for weather.

Yes, just give us a call.

Oh, no you don’t! You can’t chicken out! Just kidding.  Sorry but there are no refunds. :'(.

Each range has a dedicated Ax-pert that not only teaches the rules, but coaches you on how to throw. You will never be in the range without your Ax-pert!

We have only two requirements:

*Closed-toe shoes (no high heels even if they are closed-toe)

*A shirt which gives you full range of motion. We prefer flannel, but it is not a requirement.

Unfortunately, our insurance guy says no.

Yes, please? Deep Creek Axe Throwing Company Gift Certificates are fantastic gift ideas for that person who has everything (or just likes to do everything)! Plus they will probably bring you! Buy one HERE.

Tipping is never required but always appreciated! Our Ax-perts will do their best to make your experience fun and exciting. It is nice to show them some love!
